New week, new clips! This week on the Saving Throw (Twitch | Twitter | YouTube) clip round-up: Tempting Fate‘s Star Wars saga gets its own prequel, we return to Ravnica for The Broken Pact, the prophecy looms on Deepwater Deep, sky high combat with pirates on Ironkeep Chronicles, and the Study Group just says ‘no’ on Wildcards: East Texas University!
This week’s Tempting Fate adventure took us back to the prequels era of Star Wars with a group of scoundrels (Gina DeVivo, Sam de Leve, Revati Dhomse, and Markeia McCarty) on a mission to recover something stolen from a Jedi temple, alongside special guest Catrina Dennis! Watch as Rick Budd guides our party of scoundrels into the past on the VOD above, or check out the highlights below:
Welcome back to Ravnica, viewers! The Broken Pact returns to the Dungeons & Dragons’ Twitch at a new time, and finds our guild members in a somewhat elevated station after the events of last season, being greeted as heroes for their hand in bringing an end to Dr. Bavlic’s nefarious plans. They don’t have too long to rest on their laurels though, as they’re given a new task by a rather notable individual. Join Reuben Bresler and they cast as they dive into the Ravnica once again:
This week on Deepwater Deep: After the “ascension” of Meth Orc, and the beginnings of an alliance spearheaded by Twill, the crew is on the hunt to cure the princess’ illness. They may also be inadvertently setting themselves another step closer to the prophecy they’re supposedly at the center of. See what GM Tyler Rhoades and the rest of the crew (Revati Dhomse, Jesse Durant, Dan Peck, and Jordan Pridgen) get up to at the VOD above, and check out some highlights below:
On this edition of the Ironkeep Chronicles, the Flock Party (Krystina Arielle, Kyle Capps, Havana Mahoney, and Eric Reichert) engaged in sky high combat, as pirates tried to bring down their ship. More important than flights of fantasy, were the very real fundraising efforts that went down during the show. Every donation that came in that night was given to RAINN, to the tune of over $1400! For more details on the donation efforts, I urge you to listen to Tom’s explanation for the fundraiser, and you can donate here. Join Level 4 DM Tom Lommel and the gang for more adventure at the VOD, or check out some highlights down below:
On this episode of Wildcards, the Study Group learns about the dangers of recreational drug use, thanks to fellow student and campus drug dealer, Keith Long (played by friend of the channel, Philp J. Rossi).
Before things kicked off, Dean Jordan Caves-Callarman asked, “Why did your character pick their major?”:
And now for the highlights:
That does it for this week! Be sure to keep an eye out on the schedule to stay in the loop for all of Saving Throw’s shows, and if you’re going to be at GenghisCon in Denver, CO on February 22-24, you can link up with the Saving Throw crew there! Each member of the gang will be running games there, and on that Friday Jordan Caves-Callarman will be the GM for the first part of Doomtown Reloaded event Twilight Protocol, along with an all-star cast of players.
‘Til next time, stay clear of sand!
